Unit First EP “Falls From View”

Unit 初のリリースとなるEP盤 “Falls From View” が3月7日よりダウンロード販売開始されました！
されました日本とノルウェーとの間で数えきれないファイル交換を繰り返して出来上がった珠玉のボーカルソングがついにそのベールを脱ぎます。
本作ではゲストミュージシャンに、プリンスやデビッド・シルビアン、坂本龍一とのコラボレーションで知られるIngrid Chavezやノルウェーのメジャーロックバンド”Jaga Jazzist”の参加メンバーとして活躍したKetil Vestrum Elinarsen、また日本からは清野拓巳、mAruなど豪華なゲスト陣による素晴らしい演奏が収録されています。

All of the sounds in this video ― from the live drums, to the ambient textures & sound effects, even the dreamy piano ― are all generated in real-time by Takashi Mori's custom drumkit, which includes a Trigger, E-Pad, Korg Wave Drum & Logic Pro Main Stage.
All the sounds are sent to a loop sampler (RC-50), from which Takashi triggers & manipulates them ― again, all in real-time ― to create this wonderful sound.
This is 'solo drumming' in its truest sense.

LATEST RELEASE
Monday the 7th of March sees the release of Unit’s debut EP,‘Falls From View’.
The core Of Unit is Takashi Mori, based in Japan, and Rhys Marsh, based in Norway. After a year of writting and recording together, Mori and Marsh joined force with the sublime Ingrid Cahvez, based in North America, and the Unit sound was born. This is a truly international EP, constructed in their respective studios, in three different parts of the world.

音楽家トベタ・バジュン氏企画による東日本大震災チャリティーアルバム”Artist Action”がiTunesより配信リリースが開始されました。
素晴らしいミュージシャンたちが集う、総数37曲という壮大なアルバムにはUnitやTakashi Moriの楽曲のほか、Rhys Marsh, Ingrid Chavez (Black Eskimo)らの書き下ろし曲も収録されています。
Finally, the charity album for disaster of the Japan quake by Bajune Tobeta was released on iTunes.
My friend, Rhys Marsh, Ingrid Chavez (Black Eskimo), Unit (with Rhys, Ingrid), and I could participate in this album.
I am really glad to announce this release, and I really hope this great album become healing for sufferers.

12月9日（金）京都 Live Cafe Blue Eyes にて、Cube(K5)氏とのツーマンが決定しました。
Cube(K5)氏とTakashi Moriとは、坂本龍一氏ナビゲートのラジオプログラム”Radio Sakamoto”でのオンエアアーティスト、またトベタ・バジュン氏主宰のチャリティーアルバム”Artsit Action”への参加など、兼ねてより接点が多く、今回の会場である Live Cafe Blue Eyes の明石氏のコーディネートによって、ついにツーマンライブが決定しました。

東日本大震災後に発表されたチャリティーアルバム「ARTIST ACTION」をきっかけに出会った 各都市の音楽家とdip in the poolが共演する 仙台、京都、東京３都市ツアー ”ARTIST ACTION Arise”。
その京都公演に”solo drumming”での参加が決定しました。
本日2/4（土）より前売り予約の受付が開始されます。
14年ぶりのリリースとともに再始動の dip in the pool の貴重なライブ、そして”solo drumming”でのイベント共演、ご期待ください！
